Notetab Clips

I am a big fan of NoteTab, a text editor on steroids. I use the pro version of this software, but there is also a free, no nags or advertisements, light version available. One of my favorite features of Notetab is the clips (and I will save a bunch I wrote/write here) that allow you to do all manner of things. Sometimes this type of thing is called a macro in other programs. These programmed pieces of code give you huge power. You can manipulate files, write html, search and replace, create files, interact with other programs … etc. I write clips all the time, and so I figured maybe it made sense to start saving them in some format that could later be recalled and used as a resource by others. While you are under no obligation to do so, if you find one of my clips helpful, we would appreciate a small donation to htmlfixit.com to offset our costs. Links are always appreciated as well.

For the time being I have created two sub-categories:

  1. custom clips written for a particular purpose
  2. generic clips, more on the line of a function

If you want a copy of Notetab, just stop on by Fookes Software’s site to grab one. It is worth the few dollars for the Pro version, but get the light version and give it a try first.
