‘Wardriving’ conviction is first under Can-Spam says this article in the Tech News on ZDNet. People are suprised to find out that their area is already mapped. You must take steps to protect your wifi! I think the download of illegal music is likely to be the next significant use of misappropriated wifi access points.

The MSN search preview is back again after having been shut down last August.

They now have apparently spidered and added five billion web documents. This puts it within reach of Google which is said to have indexed 6 billion web docs.
We know they have been busy, because their spider visited our site on 13 different occasions (separate days) in the last month and 4 more so far this month.

You can find the search preview here.

Regards

Franki

Thermal Imaging May Require a Search Warrant according to some courts. If the Government wants to crack a wifi network to detect illegal activity should it be required to obtain a search warrant. Is the objective privacy greater, especially if basic steps are not taken to secure the network? Good issues I think.
