Linux desktop champion MandrakeLinux recently merged with Conectiva Linux and have just announced that their new name is to be “Mandriva”. The reasons (according to the announcement) are the merger itself and the long running the trademark lawsuit with the owers of Mandrake the Magician (Hearst Corporation) over their choice of name.
